Since we began the Community Economic Development Program (CEDP), W&A has been focused on positioning your community to respond when a new industry or business knocks on your door. We believe in that mission and strive to be a great partner for you in that regard.
But we want to do more.
It is estimated that existing businesses create 70% of new jobs in a community. We believe that providing resources to your existing industries that will encourage or facilitate expansions is just as important as attracting new companies. To that end, we are excited to offer our Existing Industry Expansion Program (EIEP) and provide another tool to promote investment and job growth for industries currently located in your community. Under this program, W&A Engineering will provide ANY existing industry within your community considering an expansion up to 10 hours of consultation and planning at no cost. This program is intended to help your local industries take the first step toward expansion by identifying obstacles early and finding solutions that will help them progress in their growth opportunity.
These services could include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Conceptual site plans
2. Conceptual utility upgrade plans
3. Cost estimates for site development and construction
4. Site location assistance
5. Permitting process and timeline consultation
6. Renderings and presentation materials
