W&A Engineering is pleased to announce the addition of BJ Martin, PE, LEED AP as the incoming Director of Operations leading the firm’s office in Atlanta, Georgia.
“We’re thrilled to welcome BJ Martin to our Atlanta team,” said W&A Engineering President and CEO Jon Williams, ASLA, PLA. “He’s joining a great team of professionals already building better communities in that office and bringing the leadership and management experience necessary to lead our Atlanta staff into their next phase of strategic growth.”
As Director of Operations, BJ will be responsible for managing the day-to-day business operations for the Atlanta office, enhancing client satisfaction, and leading diversified growth in both existing and new markets. He joins the W&A team with strong technical and business qualifications in addition to many years of hands-on experience in strategic planning, business unit development, and team leadership. His diverse experience working on land development and transportation projects from program management to construction management provides a unique benefit and understanding to developing innovative and cost-effective solutions for enhancing competitiveness, increasing revenues, and improving client satisfaction in both private and public sectors.

BJ received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Auburn University and is a certified Professional Engineer, Professional Surveyor and Mapper, and LEED Accredited Professional. He has been actively involved with the Georgia Economic Developers Association (GEDA), Association County Commissioners of Georgia (ACCG), Georgia Municipal Association (GMA) and the Council for Quality Growth.
