Project Description
The Athens-Clarke County Library Expansion Project includes a 19,000 square foot expansion of the existing facility as well as a total renovation of the existing 63,000 square foot facility. In addition to the library expansion, the site improvements include resurfacing of an existing parking lot at an adjacent school, demolition, regrading, and recreating library parking lot, creation of ADA accessible sidewalks, new landscaping and hardscaping, creation of new landscape islands in the existing parking lot, and the relocation of utilities and storm sewer system.
