Project Description
The Office of University Architects contacted W&A Engineering to provide a Traffic Impact Analysis for the UGA Veterinary Medical Learning Center. The scope of the traffic study included the existing signalized intersections of College Station Road with Barnett Shoals Road and International Drive. The study scope also included two proposed, unsignalized driveways to the Veterinary Medical Learning Center. Based on the recommendations of the Traffic Impact Analysis, W&A Engineering was contracted to provide a signal design for the addition of a northbound approach to the existing signalized intersection of College Station Road with International Drive. The signal design included equipment upgrades and fiber optic interconnection to the intersection of College Station Road with Barnett Shoals Road.
