W&A Engineering is proud to announce our Charity of Choice partners for the 2024 calendar year. Part of our dedication to leaving things better than we found them, our Charities of Choice program centers around year-long partnerships between W&A Engineering and non-profit organizations who embody our mission to build better communities in their daily service.
Each year, members of our offices across the southeast vote and select organizations local to them with whom they’d like to partner. Once the selection is made, W&A pledges a monetary donation, commits to a volunteer day of service, and supports the organization with in-kind marketing support throughout the year.
Since launching the program in 2019, W&A Engineering has partnered with 16 non-profit organizations throughout the southeast. This year, we are excited to add the following organizations to this growing list:
- The Cottage Sexual Assault Center and Children’s Advocacy Center – W&A Athens
- The Cottage raises awareness and facilitates the healing of individuals, families, and communities affected by sexual violence and child abuse.
- Trees Atlanta – W&A Atlanta
- Trees Atlanta protects and improves Atlanta’s urban forest by planting, conserving, and educating.
- Angels and Sparrows – W&A Charlotte
- Angels and Sparrows empowers families to reach their potential by providing access to food security and educational opportunities that lead to a fresh start.
- Renewal House – W&A Nashville
- Renewal House provides specialized addiction treatment to women and their children. We are the only long-term family residential program in Middle Tennessee that treats women and their children together.
For the past 25 years, W&A Engineering has been dedicated to building better communities both through our professional services and the way in which we engage with the communities we serve. We’re proud to offer our team company-sponsored opportunities to give back to their local communities, and we look forward to continuing our service to our local communities through our Charities of Choice program in 2024 and many years to come.
