W&A Engineering is thrilled to announce that we have been named the 2021 Athens-Clarke County Business and Industry Waste Reduction Winner!
At W&A Engineering, we strive to leave things better than we found them in our process of building better communities. We have dedicated ourselves to environmentally friendly and sustainable solutions for our clients, but we didn’t stop there! This award is a celebration of our W&A Cares program, the cornerstone of our corporate citizenship program; our diversion of 42 tons of concrete, 30 tons of construction debris, and 3 tons of metal in the construction of our Athens headquarters, our EarthCraft Light Commercial Fit Out Certification; and many more aspects of our everyday business practices!
Our A-CC Business and Industry Waste Reduction Award is this beautiful road sign chair made by local artist Abigail West. Constructed from all reused materials, this chair will be a functional and inspirational reminder of our never-ending quest to be the best environmental stewards we can be!
