W&A’s Business Continuity Plan and Response to COVID-19

W&A Engineering has been closely monitoring the developments related to the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. Our company operates with the goal of ensuring: the safety of our employees; the availability of our services; and compliance with public health and other government authority guidance. We wanted to take a moment to let you know that we have deployed our business continuity planning and incident response policy to protect our employees and their families, clients, vendors, and partners alike. Our goal now is to prevent spread of the outbreak in our offices and in our communities, while keeping business moving and maintaining outstanding service to our clients.

The CDC and other public health officials in the cities and states in which we operate have advised limiting exposure and practicing social distancing in order to reduce potential spread of infection. W&A has the ability to follow such recommendations – and is doing so – without interruption to our client services through remote work arrangements, by minimizing interactions throughout the offices, and by providing flex time assistance to employees with childcare needs. W&A will be limiting in-person meetings to those that are critical for our team members to attend and scheduling all other meetings to take place by video and audio conferencing. All travel will be postponed, unless specifically approved by our CEO, Jon Williams. Should the pandemic result in office closures in the future, W&A has established a telecommute plan enabling employees to work from home, with full access to their work and the programs required to keep projects moving forward.

We will continue to monitor the status of this rapidly evolving public health concern through the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and other government authorities relevant to each of our locations. While we are confident in our ability to keep your project moving forward, we will communicate with you should there be a potential impact as a result of a broader public health response.  W&A will continue to be diligent in our efforts to provide our clients with the best service possible to complete plans and projects on time. We are committed to ensuring that our services remain continuously available to you so we can be resilient, together.
