Work continues on the Caterpillar facility. Since the drying in of the manufacturing building and office, work has shifted to the interior of the buildings. On the exterior, newly installed gravel is being paved at length with tree islands and parking lots taking shape. Construction continues to move forward on the PDC (product distribution center) with footings being poured. It won’t be long until the overall site reaches final stabilization with slopes grassed and paving complete.
Access road construction continues to progress along the new Dozer Drive and Orkin Drive. Curb and gutter has been installed and paving has commenced. Intersection improvements have begun on both Atlanta Highway and US Highway 78. Utility installation continues to progress with power, gas, and telephone with sidewalk installation and final stabilization to begin in the near future.
