Meet Adam Bledsoe, RLS at W&A Engineering Nashville!
Adam is the Director of Surveying for our W&A Engineering Nashville office, and we are so pleased to have added him to our W&A team. With the Nashville addition being W&A Engineering’s most recently established office, Adam is inspired by the potential for growth he sees in W&A’s quest to expand.
“Thanks to all of the help we have received from Athens and the Nashville civil engineering departments, it has been an exciting start for us,” he said.
Having moved to Nashville from Bloomington, Indiana about 10 years ago, Adam enjoys Nashville’s small-town feel (despite its nearly 526 square miles). During his first years in Nashville, he also enjoyed the active night life which Nashville offers, though he is not at all disappointed that his two young sons have changed that. Today, he is much more drawn to doing a 1000-piece puzzle or reading Wyatt (4) and Owen (2) a bedtime story. In his free time, he takes absolutely any chance to do a bit of golfing or catch an episode or two of Engineering Catastrophes on the science channel.
Though his heart lies with the surveying department in Nashville, his favorite part of working at W&A Engineering is the collaboration between departments and takes every opportunity to learn something new.
“You can learn a lot from your colleagues when you have joint projects,” Adam said.
While he enjoys the relationships he has been able to form in the intimacy of the growing Nashville office, Adam looks forward to growing the survey department in true W&A fashion!
“I just want to say again how great the last 5 months have been, and we are looking forward to growing the Nashville office,” Adam commented.
