Growing with W&A: Meet Chloe Tatum, EIT!

W&A Engineering is thrilled to welcome Chloe Tatum, EIT to our civil engineering team in Atlanta, Georgia! Chloe joins us from the Georgia Institute of Technology where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering earlier this year.

Only a few days into her professional career post-graduation, Chloe is filled with excitement to learn and grow as part of our team of innovative designers in Georgia’s capital city under the leadership of seasoned industry professionals such as Director of Operations BJ Martin, PE, LEED AP; Senior Project Manager Lauren Garren, PE; and Project Manager Morgan Murdock.

At the Georgia Institute of Technology, Chloe Tatum was the Vice President of Marketing for her sorority, Alpha Phi, and served as the Project Lead for Engineers for a Sustainable World, a Georgia Tech program promoting engineering that fosters environmental, social, and economic sustainability to develop sustainable solutions for local, regional, and national problems.

In her free time, Chloe enjoys exploring walkable Atlanta Midtown, taking her Australian Shepherd Cooper out for coffee or a bite to eat. In addition to Aussie Cooper, Chloe also has three cats—Charlie, Chandler, and Clementine—and an axolotl named Cera. Her main hobby is caring for her over 50 house plants and propagating them to give to her friends.

Her favorite part of being a member of the W&A Engineering team has been the purpose-driven environment the firm prioritizes.

“Everybody makes me feel empowered to learn and grow,” said Chloe. “It is truly a positive work environment.”

We’re so grateful to have bright minds like Chloe on our team building better communities for our clients across the southeast. Welcome to the team, Chloe!
