Growing with W&A: Meet Emily Flood, PE!

W&A Engineering has welcomed Emily Flood to our Atlanta Civil Engineering Team as a Project Manager serving our clients across the southeast. Having earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2015, Emily brings nearly 10 years of experience to W&A Engineering and our growing Atlanta team.

A Project Manager for civil design projects, Emily coordinates with clients and municipalities to deliver total development solutions from site design, hydrology design and reporting, site grading, utility planning, erosion control, construction management, project due diligence, QA/QC, permitting, and more. She has extensive experience working with communities of various sizes to ensure their project needs and met and exceeded, while ensuring her projects stay on time and on budget. She has already proven an incredible asset to the Atlanta team!

“It’s been great working in such a welcoming and collaborative environment,” Emily said. “Everyone is incredibly smart and helpful, and I can’t wait to see how much I learn from my colleagues and peers!”

Emily and her fiancé, Wes, love living in the always active city of Atlanta. Together with their very personable cat, Noah, the two enjoy cooking, biking, hiking, and traveling. In her free time, Emily loves to build miniatures and cross stitch while watching her favorite show Fargo. After work, you might find her at one of Atlanta’s countless eateries, especially Nuevo Laredo Cantina and Greater good BBQ.

We couldn’t be happier to welcome Emily to our growing team and look forward to seeing all the community-building she has ahead of her. Welcome to the team, Emily!
