W&A is thrilled to announce the addition of Lauren Klingel to our Atlanta, Georgia Civil Engineering team. One of the newest additions to our team, Lauren joined the W&A team as a Project Engineer II in August of 2022 and has already found her place as part of our Atlanta family.
Originally from Northwest Ohio, Lauren studied Geological Engineering at the University of Mississippi. After graduating from Ole Miss in 2018, Lauren dove into the industry and immediately began building better communities in the greater Atlanta area. She is OSHA 40-HR Hazwoper Certified and prioritizes safety in all her projects.
Outside of the office, Lauren enjoys working on home renovation projects in her Roswell home. She loves reading, cooking, and spending time with her two dogs, Willow and Dixie, and her cat, Atticus. Her favorite things about living in Roswell are the Riverwalk and trail system and the historic homes adorning the city, maintaining the “small town feel” continually present despite the growth in surrounding areas.
Lauren’s favorite thing about being a part of the W&A team thus far are her colleagues across the southeast.
“My favorite thing about W&A so far is definitely the people. I’ve worked with several of my coworkers before, and it’s nice to work with them again and meet new people,” Lauren said. “Everyone seems to really care about their work and the community.”
