A Staff Engineer in Augusta, Leah earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering from the University of Alabama in 2022. Originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Leah is a huge Crimson Tide fan!
Leah’s favorite part of being an engineer is seeing projects slowly come to life and make a difference for the people in the surrounding community.
“I love playing a role in society’s behind the scenes,” Leah said. “From seeing why certain design decisions are made to the process of turning an idea into reality, being an engineer changes the way you look at the world. Plus, it’s so rewarding to be a part of the development of communities alongside other talented professionals.”
Outside of the office, Leah enjoys spending time with her husband, especially on the golf course– “He plays; I drive.” When she’s not navigating the green, she’s likely at home with her animals. Their fur family is complete with two dogs, Bean and Axle, and cat, Crouton. While they’re still new to the area, Savannah River Brewery is one of her favorite spots to chill on a Saturday afternoon before strolling down the riverwalk!
