Growing with W&A: Meet Owen Penn!

We’re so excited to welcome Owen Penn as the newest member of our Civil Engineering team. A Project Engineer in Tennessee, Owen joins our Nashville team with several years of industry experience building better communities across the southeast, focusing his efforts on residential and commercial civil design work.

With survey and civil site design experience stretching the state of Tennessee, Owen prides himself in his ability to engineer relationships with clients from the earliest stages of a project’s lifecycle all the way through construction. He enjoys making connections with clients and considers active, consistent communication to be a key contributor to a project’s success.

Owen earned his Bachelors of Science in Geological Engineering from the University of Mississippi in 2019, where he minored in Engineering Mathematics and was the captain of the Ole Miss Men’s Lacross team.

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Owen has hopped around the South quite a bit! In his free time, Owen Penn is most likely playing golf, trying out new restaurants with his girlfriend, or cooking a meal at home. He loves attending sporting events, especially Ole Miss football games. He even coached for the Atlanta Coyotes Travel Lacrosse Team for several years during which he worked with age groups ranging from 11-year-olds all the way t 17-year-olds. Now that he’s settled in Nashville, he’s excited to revisit coaching.

Always in pursuit of adventure, Owen is currently training for the Music City Triathlon coming up in June. While this will be his first of 2023, he’s certainly planning to continue his training to participate in several other races in the future.

We are so excited to have Owen on our Nashville Civil Engineering team!
