W&A Engineering’s Senior Project Manager Lee Rodgers, PE has been appointed as the Director of Civil Engineering in Athens, Georgia to lead our growing team of seasoned industry professionals building better communities out of northeast Georgia’s Classic City.
Rodgers was hand-picked by company leadership to expand his role of service to the Athens civil engineering department due to his commitment to the firm’s mission, vision, and values; active leadership of and rapport with members of his team; collaborative nature; affinity for cross-discipline collaboration; and his commitment to the strategic success of the firm’s long-term goals.
“I’m proud to be a part of the W&A team because of our work on our projects across the country, as well as our commitments to the communities we serve with our professional services,” Rodgers said. “I love being a member of this team, and I love the opportunity to spend time with them each day. It’s an honor to step into this role of service.”
Rodgers joined the W&A Engineering team in May 2023 with over 30 years of experience as a professional civil engineering working in the site development industry. He is licensed in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and Louisiana and an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. From small firms to Fortune 500 companies, Lee has seen it all and has built an impressive resume of commercial, industrial, retail and higher education projects all over the country.
