W&A Engineering, Inc., a rapidly growing multidisciplinary engineering firm headquartered in Athens, Georgia, is excited to announce the acquisition of John F. Brewer and Associates. For more than 50 years, John F. Brewer and Associates has been a cornerstone of the community, providing land surveying services within Walton County and the greater Atlanta area.
As a second-generation land surveyor, John Brewer, III will be joining the W&A’s Land Surveying Team as Director of Surveying for the Monroe office with more than thirty years of experience. John has a passion for land surveying that can be seen through the detail and quality of his firm’s work. Throughout the years, John has gained a diverse background managing projects in various sectors and of all sizes. John was elected county surveyor in 2016 and continues to serve in that capacity.
W&A Engineering started as a one-person land planning firm that has grown over the past two decades into a multidisciplinary firm with a national reach. Since its inception, the foundation for W&A Engineering’s success has been a commitment to build better communities by providing innovative design, efficient engineering, and professional service, one client at a time. The firm employs a staff of over 50 people across five departments: Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Land Surveying, and Economic Development Consulting. W&A Engineering has managed projects in 45 states and have worked with over 35 communities in the State of Georgia as their on-call economic development partner. In addition to the new Monroe office, W&A Engineering also has offices in Augusta, GA, and Nashville, TN.
The Monroe office, located at 1002 S Broad St, Monroe, GA 30655 will serve as a new regional hub for W&A to continue to forge new relationships and improve communities as we expand across the southeast.
