Project Description
Emmanuel Episcopal Church is a redevelopment of a previously mixed-use commercial development located on one of Athens, GA’s major commercial corridors. Located near the city’s downtown district, the site was redesigned in an overall campus master plan including expansions of the existing church facilities with improved circulation, underground stormwater management, and associated parking. Design services for the project included campus master planning, site development planning, engineering, landscape architecture, tree management plans, and utility agency coordination.
Awarded a 2020 AIA Aspire South Atlantic / Woodworks Wood Design Award
