Project Description
W&A Engineering initially worked with the Taliaferro Economic
Development Authority on due diligence items during the purchase of the
County’s first industrial site. Within months, Harrison Poultry selected
the site for its new facility.
Harrison Poultry is located on a 200-acre tract which is home to a new
feed mill facility and truck shop. In addition to the facility, a new 8,300
linear foot rail loop is on-site and is connected to the CSX mainline by
two switches. This project is currently under construction.
