Project Description
McClure Farms is a 95.29-acre multi-family development nearing construction off Nashville Highway in Columbia, Tennessee. McClure Farms consists of more than 400 homes, including 116 single-family lots and 315 townhome units, a leasing office, park, playground, mail facilities, dog park, enclosed garages, a pool, and ponds. The W&A Engineering Athens and Nashville teams coordinated with client Gehan Homes and performed the planning, engineering, and construction plans for the site development, including the concept plan, schematic design, vertical and horizontal utility plan layout, site perimeter access plan, 100% stormwater drainage plan, and final construction plan development.
McClure Farms is an excellent example of our firm’s collaborative efforts– both internally and externally. W&A coordinated with client Gehan Homes to actualize their vision for this development bringing increased housing opportunities to a growing community. In the process of actualizing this vision, the collaboration of multiple W&A Engineering teams was required, with these teams coordinating across disciplines and working together across state lines to develop the plans for McClure Farms.
