Project Description
The Retreat on Milledge is an off-campus student living community located off College Avenue in Athens, Georgia located north of the University of Georgia. This multifamily development includes 87 buildings including 170 residential units, a maintenance building, and a clubhouse for a total of 594 bedrooms. The property includes on-street, off-street, and garage parking totaling 594 parking spaces. The 37.37-acre project included boundary, as-built, and topographical surveying, site development design, Golf Course Roadway design, off-site roadway improvements, amenity design, and permitting. Additional services include enhanced landscape design and a wide range of support services during construction, administration, and observation.
ADDITIONAL SANITARY SEWAGE IMPROVEMENTS
The Retreat on Milledge Sanitary Sewer Improvement project was a collaboration between the University of Georgia, The UGA Real Estate Foundation, Athens Transportation Partners, Great Walton Railroad, The Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County, and Landmark Properties. The project consists of 2,700 linear feet of minor collector classified roadway with an urban cross-section, including required water and sanitary sewer design, storm drain, and stormwater management facilities. The sanitary sewer improvement consisted of the administration and construction of approximately 1,170 linear feet of off-site sanitary sewer to serve 2426 South Milledge Avenue and 600 linear feet of sanitary sewer to serve 2429 South Milledge Avenue.
