W&A Engineering’s Director of Landscape Architecture and Planning Scott Haines, ASLA, PLA has been appointed as the Director of Operations in Athens, Georgia.
Haines has been hand-picked by company leadership to expand his role due to his long-time service and commitment to the firm’s mission, vision, and values, understanding of long-term company goals, and exceptional report with staff. While continuing to lead W&A’s Landscape Architecture and Planning department, Haines will also be organizing and overseeing day-to-day business operations of the Athens office, developing strategic plans and procedures to ensure smooth progress, supervising staff, and overseeing customer support across multiple departments.

Scott Haines has been with the firm since the fall of 2004, making him the employee with the second-longest tenure in the entire company. In that time, Haines has been the lifeblood of our Landscape Architecture team, the design lead and internal powerhouse behind countless transformational projects across the southeast, championed progressive programs and incentives which have shaped our firm, and much more.
