Jon Williams is President and CEO of W&A Engineering. He established Williams & Associates two decades ago with the idea of establishing an all-encompassing design firm in Northeast Georgia to serve its growing communities. Since then, the company has grown into a multi-disciplined, national engineering firm working in more than 45 states and acting as the on-call civil engineers and consultants for economic development in more than 35 Georgia communities. Because of the growth of the company and the importance of his team, Williams decided in November of 2017 to rename the company W&A Engineering to better reflect the current mission of the company:

Williams is an experienced practitioner in all aspects of site design; ranging from preliminary design, civil engineering, project management, and construction management. Williams has worked in the Northeast Georgia area for over 16 years on numerous projects including commercial, office, recreational, residential, multi-family and mixed-use developments, as well as numerous public projects. One of the projects nearest to his heart is the work that he and the W&A Engineering team have done for Extra Special People. Starting in 2018, donated $50K in consulting and design services to the Firefly Trail. “Athens-Clarke, Oglethorpe and Greene Counties are our partners in economic development, so donating our time and services to the Firefly Trail seemed like a great way for us to give back to those communities while continuing to promote economic development and job growth across the state,” says Williams.
Williams is responsible for team coordination on all projects within the firm. He works diligently to provide every client with the highest possible degree of customer service to meet and exceed the client’s needs on each individual project. Acutely aware of the economic implications of each project, Mr. Williams strives to complete every project on time and within budget.
