W&A Engineering sponsored a hole at Chico’s 1st Annual March of Dimes Charity Golf Tournament. W&A’s Kelsey Berry, Mark Dunlap, and Josh Wallace attended the event and set up the surveying equipment to measure the distance of the players’ first drive for the longest drive contest. Proceeds went to March of Dimes which helps moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies. If something goes wrong, March of Dimes offers information and comfort to families. They also research the problems that threaten babies and work on preventing them.
The majority of the tournament’s players consisted of Chico’s employees and vendors. They were all very appreciative of Williams’ work on the new parking lots at their main distribution center off HWY 316. W&A sponsors holes and measures the longest drive contest for about three golf tournaments a year. We enjoy taking this opportunity to talk with potential clients and meet new people. The players are always intrigued by the survey equipment and like being able to experience how it works. This was another successful golf tournament and our last tournament of 2013.
