At this year’s annual forecasting luncheon, W&A Engineering President and CEO, Jon Williams, announced a new corporate structure for 2017. Frank Pittman, company partner and current Director of Engineering, will move into the newly created Chief Operations Officer position.

Mike Greenlee, an 11 year veteran at W&A Engineering and current head of Traffic Engineering, will join as a company partner and take over as Director of Engineering. Current Comptroller Kellie Moon will begin the process of training to become the company’s first Chief Financial Officer.

Williams remarked that the company’s vision to become the premier civil engineering firm in the southeast—coupled with substantial growth over the past five years—was the impetus for the change in structure.

Williams also unveiled a retooled mission statement for the company stating that corporate decisions, and ultimately the future growth of the company, will be influenced and driven by the mission to, “… improve communities with our innovative design, effective and efficient engineering, and professional service one client at a time.”

Williams added that in order for the projected growth to occur that the company must maintain its focus on customer service and quality work as well as attracting and retaining the best talent.

“We are poised for growth and moving the talented people we already have in the company into higher leadership positions will ensure that we can grow while maintaining our focus on our clients and the communities that we serve.” -Jon Williams, President & CEO, W&A
